Filos was opened in November 2017 at the Hellenic Community of Pretoria and is open to the community members as well as all the public.
Filos is owned and run by South African born Cypriot Nicolas Paphitis, who has been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years and prides himself on a creating a space which embodies a rich European and homely atmosphere, authentic quality food using only the best ingredients, which is guaranteed as Mama Maro is always busy in the kitchen. Excellent and personalised service are always a top priority with most of our clientele having become part of the Filos family over the years.
